Monday full of Fun Rain

Rock climbing class was first on the agenda

Then it was suppose to be lunch AT Chipotle

but because of this storm rolling in we decided to get it and eat it at the park so they could play while they ate.

It soon started to rain on our parade so going to the waterpark at the YMCA for the day was scratched off of the agenda. In between rain storms we played outside and enjoyed the cooler air.

Tuesday is shaping up to be a better day for the weather and we are headed for some water!

Open And Shut Them! Open And Shut Them! Give Them A Little Clap!

That is what this little bundle of joy has learned to do.

She has also learned to say da da da da and ba ba ba ba! Of course, everyone in this house thinks she is saying Dadda and Bubba except me.....I just know her first word will be Mama!!

*WINK*

Come along for the ride....

It's our last week of summer extravaganza and you are all invited to see the places we go.....

Promises had been made to a little boy who spent an entire summer going to baseball game after baseball game and they weren't even his. We heard about the Rocket Launches in Argonia, Kansas and thought that Reece would love them and it would be right up his alley! So promises were kept and we set out on our adventure Sunday morning.

Rockets, Rockets, Rockets and more Rockets........or so we thought.

Waiting for the fun to begin
One rocket.....Very Cool
2nd Rocket......DUD......Poor little guys rocket didn't make it very far!
3rd Rocket...Huge and went so far up in the air we never even saw it come back down.

Before the 4th rocket went off......The boys were ready to call it a day. Needless to say, that was not enough action in a hurry for them. So 60 miles down there for 4 rockets, lunch in Wellington at Pizza Hut, then school shopping at Towne East back in Wichita rounded out our Sunday.

Gotta say that the rockets were a bust, but it was good family time even if we spent the majority of the day in the car telling Reece to be quiet!!!!

What will Monday hold? Something more exciting I hope!!!

Real rescue ropes and everything

is what my Reece told me about his new adventure in rock wall climbing.

Getting his harness on by his Belay Bill

Are you serious? That's a long way off the ground!

OK Good! We are starting small!

But before long we are ready to climb using "REAL RESCUE ROPES"

Not so sure he is really trusting this rescue rope or the Belay! Maybe next week he'll go higher!

Reece,

Maybe when you complete this class you will be ready to climb Mount Everest and that would be fabulous. If not you can just stay safe and sound on the ground with Mommy and that would make me happy too!

What a difference a MONTH makes

As if to say "My teeth hurt"

7 Months and she is so different than she was just a short month ago.

All that comes with being Ellee Rae and 7 Months old

She can go from flat on her back to sitting up.
She can get up on all 4's, however, moving is a little tricky.
She has learned that if I scream someone will come running.
She got her first haircut.
She is cutting teeth.
The Doctor says she is very advanced and strong for her age.
Don't tell anyone....but she loves french fries. Thanks to Grandpa!
Sleeping during the day is OVERRATED!!
Loves to feed herself cheerios.
Loves mimicking sounds you make.
Waves Good-Bye and Hello ~~ TO HERSELF!!
