Random Reece Ramblings

Reece: Mommy I measured me on that thing in the bathroom. I'm 656 Mommy!

Mommy: (Trying not to laugh) You are 656 huh?

Reece: Yep that means I'm tall Mommy. I am getting really tall Mommy!

Mommy: (Thinking) DANG! I must be a giant then! All this time I thought I was just overweight!

Is the start of something new.



Today...



I'm not sure that I am going to like it.

Is the day that the random sound of "I love you Mama" won't happen in the afternoons.

Is the day that Ellee doesn't have to wake up early from a nap because her brother was too loud.

Is the day that I will cry a little bit, smile a little bit, wish a little bit, pray a little bit and know that we are doing what is best for a little boy who is struggling in school.


Today...



Is the day that I am and forever will be thankful for the amazing school that my children attend. I am so thankful for teachers who love my kids, who understand their needs, and want them to be successful.



Today...



Is going to be a hard day when I have to take my little boy back to school at 12:50 after having lunch with me.



Today....



Is a new adventure for both of us and it's gonna be alright! At least that is what I am telling myself!

I will miss you today and every afternoon when you go back to school. I will miss the Mommy I need this, Mommy I need that. I will miss hearing you yell at me while your sister is sleeping "I love you Mommy". I will miss the conversations that we have about random things. I will miss your smile, your voice, your laugh when you aren't here in the afternoons but I will be waiting for you to come home to tell me all about your new friends, your afternoon and your first day of school!
